Anywhere Else: A Game About Starting Over

After a horrible event befell you, you cut contact with everyone you knew, moved to a far away city, and now you are the owner of your own cafe. All you want is to live in peace, build a thriving business, and forge connections with the community. You cannot go back. Play by serving customers, expanding your menu as much as you can, and tallying your success at the end of the week. The game is also filled with journaling prompts to expand your story, lore, and world. 

This game takes inspiration from Occulteas and the book, “Legends and Lattes”. The setup is inspired by Apex Predator, using the Carta SRD.

You will need:

• At least one d8 and one d12 (or online dice roller)
• A 52 Card Deck 
• A Journal/Sheets of Paper/Word Processor
• Marker Item

Made this game in a months-long, blacked out frenzy. I hope it brings others creativity,  closure, and peace.
